Vietnam is a popular travel destination, and not without reason. The people are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The country is exotic and very beautiful. There is a little something for every taste.
At Annas Højskole in Vietnam we immerse ourselves in one area. That means you only need to unpack your suitcase once.
We have chosen to base the folk high school in Vietnam's wonderfully charming capital, Hanoi. It is a city brimming with history and culture. So, taking the charming Hanoi and its people as our starting point, we learn about Vietnam's history and culture. We meet both interesting Vietnamese and Danes who live in Hanoi.
At the folk high school we begin some of the days by doing morning exercises in the nearby park – just like the Vietnamese. And after our breakfast there will be communal singing, gatherings and talks, whenever we are not out on excursions.
The folk high school is located in a lovely part of Hanoi, and the hotel we use as our base is an oasis in the sometimes hectic city. The hotel has a lecture room, a spa area and a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool.
In addition to our fixed programme, we make sure there is time to take a little break from the folk high school. Here you can explore Hanoi and its surroundings on your own and at your own pace.
There will be the opportunity to extend the trip if you wish to travel around a little on your own after our folk high school stay.
